Know about COONE





Coone (Koen Bauweraerts), born on 30 May 1983, is a Belgian DJ who has been producing and mixing music at the age of 15 first attracted attention with his reworking of Blur’s “Song 2″. Presently, he is the holder of the label Dirty Workz which he launched in the year 2006. The creation of this label proved to be a huge step in this young man’s career.

He is best known for “Hard Driver”, “Came to this”. Signing at Dim Mak and working with artists like Steve Aoki are for him one of the great steps in his career.



He started his career in year 2002 and since then year, Coone is at the forefront of hardstyle and has been since busting onto the scene at a young age. His genres, hardstyle (a subgenre of harddance) and jumpstyle have put him in the DJ MAG top 100 DJ’s list.


Musical career

From a young age, Coone has been mesmerized by music in all its different shapes and forms. At the age of 19, Coone delivered his first Extended Play “Protect the Innocent” that took his music beyond his own expectations. After the production of this EP in 2002, he became the resident DJ at Sint-Niklaas’ Complex.

Coone has as of late marked with Dim Mak Records for approaching music which comprises of a recent release with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike entitled “Madness”. He brought further releases on Dim Mak Records including Global Dedication which unveiled in November, followed by “Can’t Stop The Swag” (signed up with Steve Aoki) with which Coone was able to impress the world.





February 2014 saw release of the track “150 BPM” with Jim Ferren on Dim Mak Records. His singles “Getting Down”, “The Name of My DJ”, “The Chosen One”, “Bounce On Ya Sneakerz/ Keep it Whoat”, “Travelling”, “Feelings in My Head”, “The Prime Traget” “Dedication”, “Can’t Stop The Swag” along with others makes him the hardstyle ambassador of Dim Mak.

Some of his hit remixes include “Drug Collection”, “Go Insane”, “Make It Bun Dem”, “A Light That Never Comes” and more.
